
The Director of Gourmand Providore, Abboud Jraij, has had a passion for fruit and vegetables for over 20 years, having owned numerous fresh food outlets in the Sydney Metropolitan Area that provided excellent service and seasonal produce. After focusing his efforts on offering an entire business solution to his clients, Abboud dedicated the infrastructure he had established to form Gourmand Providore in 1990. Now, with a new warehouse located in Sydney Markets that features state of the art cool room and cool storage facilities, Abboud and his team are working towards becoming market leaders in the fruit and vegetable industry.
Developing and maintaining close relationships with clients from the loading dock through to the kitchen is one of the main goals at Gourmand Providore. As an environmentally aware company, all packaging material, including cartons, bubble wrap and styro-foam boxes, are recycled to help reduce waste.
